NYSE BQT is a more flexible and affordable alternative to the range of expensive Level 1 market data offerings currently available.

S&P Capital IQ has gone live with its first data solution based on real-time technology for exchange and market data distribution acquired with QuantHouse in April 2012. The company’s consolidated financial data feed has been up and running since early March and offers normalised, real-time global content from 110 exchanges that can be accessed using a thin application programming interface (API).

Thomson Reuters today announced the launch of Elektron Managed Services in Taiwan to provide international and local financial firms with cost effective access to its real-time market data infrastructure and content. Initially the service will provide connectivity to real-time market data and the Thomson Reuters Enterprise Platform for real-time data management capabilities within the data centre, supported by end-to-end performance monitoring and service management. Social media has become a crucial source of information for the financial services community, in addition to corporate analytics groups in the non-financial sector. The SMA Sentiment Signature Feed will offer customers a first-of-a-kind tool for including social media sentiment in their market analysis and decision-making processes.
