Reuters Forums Offer Insight into Reducing Latency
How are suppliers to financial institutions meeting their clients’ needs for ever-lower latency? A forthcoming series of events hosted by Reuters promises to offer some insight into the topic.
The “Performance & Low Latency Forums” in London and New York will give audiences a chance to hear the views of senior industry figures on the factors that most impact latency throughout the transaction lifecycle, and the benefits to be gained from true automation.
With algorithmic trading growing and market data volumes soaring, latency and performance are hot topics for the financial industry right now. In particular, the onus is on key suppliers to reduce latency in their offerings, in order to support their customers’ drive to eliminate latency and maximise performance.
At the Reuters forums, representatives from firms throughout the value chain – including exchanges, network providers, hardware suppliers and Reuters as an application provider – will seek to inform delegates about what they are delivering today through innovation and partnerships, as well as providing insight into future strategy and how their businesses are evolving to meet developing needs.
The forums are taking place in London on 22 May and in New York on 20 June. For more information and to register, please email to forums@reuters.com.
